Materials list for Charcoal painting

The following materials are available at Bhaskar Art Centre, Ashoka Market, Avenue Road, Bangalore. (Opp. Indian Bank, near Banaras Sweet Centre). Phones: 220 3147, 226 8332 (Please note, this is not a comprehensive list and students may choose other suitable materials). Some of the material will not be available here and should be brought from other sources.

Charcoal stumping powder black - at least two bottles

Charcoal pencil (please buy the best quality available)
2B pencil Hand made paper  -  2 or more sheets
Paper stumps of different sizes Erasers, one hard and one soft
Small paper plate or flat cardboard box with lid for use as a palette Thick cotton cloth to spread the shadow
Apron to protect clothing A good pair of scissors
