There is no basic course for decoupage, the student has to choose a picture and the size of plate and then begin with the work where she will learn:

• The method of cutting and pasting the picture ;
• application of the base background in oils;
• finishing the background and fusing with the picture;
• varnishing and finishing the plate.

Working on a plate

Pots and other terra cotta or wood objects used for decoupage should be coated with a suitable primer before working on them. we can personalise articles by using photographs from the family album.

A landscape or still life can be done by the student, personal pictures also can be done. The student can opt for a clip or stand to support the plate after completion.
